A doodle and etc

Yikes, just realised haven’t blogged in a bit, just been busy trying to sort stuff out and settle in. Boy, it’s only when we down size then we realised we have a lot of stuff lol!

Haven’t really drawn seriously in a bit, the recent sketches of Mirai chan on dannychoo.com reminded me ^^; Not much time to colour personal stuff yet, so here is the black and white pencil sketch for now ^^;/

Pumpkins from the other time are currently sitting outside :P probably have to dump them eventually, I think I saw some mould inside them ^^;

I forgot if the sky was really this strange saturated blue during the time I took thos shot, but the clouds look kinda cool :)

Better days

Husband had been working hard to install storage units around our place ^^; For this one, he had to climb in to assemble the shelves ^^;

We had hot pot for two during one of the colder evenings :3 (yes food pix ahead!) You been warned!

..

.

Kampai! (cheers) I think we were drinking pop lol

Hilarious sighting at Home Depot :P I even made a youtube vid lol I almost wanted to take one home ^^;

Mirai looks so pretty with the windswept hair! ooh hot pot looks yummy! never had it, but I don’t think my cooking skills are up to the task yet ^^; Looks like it takes a lot to get a house in order at first :O

    LOL! awww and hot pot is very simple, U just need basic broth, wash the veggies and buy thinly sliced beef for hotpot ^^; And it takes a lot indeed o_o we’re getting there, slowly ^^;

    Wow it looks very nice where you are now! I am guessing from the photos that the new house is more in the suburbs/small town? My wife keeps asking if we can visit Vancouver now. ^o^ The most recent move meant a smaller place for us as well. I guess it is a good thing since most of the stuff can not go back to Japan. I know it takes awhile, but my wife and I hope you and your husband get settled in soon.

    The sketch looks wonderful! She is so moe… I know I will look for the Rocking Horses when I’m in Home Depot. ^^

    oh! it depends, we had a lot of stuff to put in the pot so we ended up no need to eat rice to go with it :) I hope I won’t be too late for the post office trip :P
