This Saturday’s weather forecast was sunny and clouds, so had to get out there and try to take pix of the fleeting Sakuras (cherryblossoms)!

The white dots on the ground are wild daisies :) I love how serene and peaceful the above photo is ^^

Currently seems like the pale pink sakuras are in (fuwa fuwa) fluffy bloom…

Still using my DSLR which jams occassionally ^^; but thankfully was behaving alright on Saturday ^^

Problem with these pale pink sakuras is that they tend to be washed out in some of the shots, making them challenging to photograph.

Ah I want to go to Japan again ^^;

Weekend usually = Running errands ^^;/ Finally bought kitchen mittens to replace those lost in the baking accident.

I think this is the first time I had a Purdy’s ice cream bar… omg so damn good o_o; Shared it with hubs ^^ the peanuts chunks are the right texture, not too powdery :9~~~~ the ice cream was surprisingly light and refreshing ^^

Good idea to have been provided with the paper cup under the ice cream bar, cos the icecream/chocolate tend to fall apart near the end ^^;

Sky train station… Work in progressu ^^

Yoshi seems to have grown up a bit last week :D Looking more like a cat than a grease ball now :P Ginko (The grey kitty at the back) is still chubbier tho lol!

Omake photo of a blythe doll photoshoot, if only we can plant and grow dolls ^^; But since I have a black thumb I may end up killing the doll/plant ^^;

Before I go, want to thank Danny for believing in my work, and being super patient as I work on the next sewing commission thru all my other work etc happening at the same time. My Mirai yukino DD is happy as she get to keep the extra tests sewings which didn’t make the cut lol — will feature those photos in due time ;)

Hope you all had a great weekend! :)

  1. Nice park! Where is that? I rarely go out as you can tell ^^;
    Gah that ice cream is tempting me! Good thing I have cake and green tea ice cream in my vicinity.

    @lightningsabre well it’s almost not a park it’s super tiny and outside a public market? lol! cake and green tea… K-ON? LOL

  3. Oh ok, looks pretty big for a non-park. Haw yeah kinda like K-ON, but not really that good of a quality. NOT Tsumugi quality ^^;

  4. chun says:

    @lightningsabre Oh wait I’m actually confused lol! We went to 2 places actually one nearer to Oakridge mall? It feels like it’s in a residential type area ^^; The other one is just in richmond (the very small one I talking about)

  5. kmyk says:

    me thinks I should commission you to create a wardrobe for my (upcoming) miel lati~ ^___^

  6. how come the park is empty unlike in japan where people would crowd under the sukaru trees for hanami? haha. ^^;

  7. Chibinezumi says:

    flowers are so beautiful There are no cherry blossoms where I live. The mittens! I know the feeling mine are thick like 3 pairs together they are 12 years old and I cannot find a pair that can match them!

  8. chun says:

    @kmyk ooooh congrats on your Lati bebe! As for commission we can talk over e-mail or something lol

    @gordon lol well there is some people around, but we wait around until they’re away XD this place is not exactly a park, it’s kinda near a field (where the blue flowers is, and near a playground ^^)

    @Chibinezumi aw! and well if the original mittens didn’t have that accident we’ll have own our mittens longerer lol!

  9. rangerroh says:

    nice pictures. You dont get that kinda of scenery here in Los Angeles.

  10. chun says:

    rangerroh I’m guessing LA is a bit too hot and dry for Sakuras ^^;

    0.o I’d like to order a wearable version of that dress, but my physiology would adversely affect the final outcome, hehe^^:;

  12. chun says:

    @aprilius20 awwww! I unfortunately cannot fill it up as nicely as well ^^;

  13. aprilius20 says:

    Mmm, I meant something else by ‘physiology’, but never mind^^;;

  14. Alicia says:
