Another post about random

This week managed to finish a record speed little commission for Otaku Dan! :D Very happy to be chosen to refresh the mascot/logo, the mascot is so cute, like a mochi with ears, tail and glasses ^O^ ^^; want to eat it lol!

I draw full time for cartoondollemporium.com but occassionally I do take a freelance commission or 2, have to squeeze it into free time sometimes if the commission has more details ^^; Each commission work is different, so charge and time to complete differ per client ^^;  Example if the mascot is a full size girl with detailed clothing etc, it’ll cost more than drawing a mochi mascot with a face and accessory :) Currently I have a couple things in queue ^^; (Sorry for the wait!)

I drew some sketches at the shop today but I’m not 100% happy with them so I’ll do a photo dump instead ^^;

Today after I got home, I wanted to find something in a particular box which was packed away since we moved to our current place, so I finally opened that box and with the item I found (I’ll blog about that item another time :P) I found a buncha hidden treasures XD!

Extremely delighted to find these set of clips in shape of birds and wiener dogs I bought when I was in Japan couple years ago? ^^;

 I believe I got them from either “Loft” or “Tokyu Hands” both places sells Zakka which can range from stuff like stationery to kitchenware, very nice place to hunt for cute souveniers.

The strange looking grey colour animal(which I have no idea based off what animal) was a gift from a friend in San Jose lol I recall wanting to buy it and said friend forcefully bought it for me LOL (don’t think he even remember he did that now :P) I was extremely amused that it make s alot of funny noises ranging from “Muuuuak heehee” to “gigglygooglybubugigugigu (something along that line)” ^o^

This Lion was a present from the husband :P his mane reminds me of my hubs’ hair lol And hubs is a Leo ^^ (He shares same birthday as Singapore! XD)
 

As for Meow status, me + hubs decided to be crazy and bring him with us without a carrier (yup you read that right) to the animal hospital as we were going there to buy some more wet food for him. Why we did that was still unknown, I am guessing it was kinda because our cat started to behave a bit more like his nosy old self (which is somewhat a relief), and I just picked him up and held him like a big baby in the car, all the way to the hospital and back home.

Meow did hiss and fussed when we went into a room with an assistant to weigh him – he weighed 12 pounds  10 ounces ^^; The first time he went to the hospital he weighed 14 pounds (he was probably a bit more before he got sick)

I’ll end this photo dump with food post :P I had left over home made okonomiyaki for lunch on Wednesday, took a couple pix ^0^! I thank my friend Yuki san for teaching me how to make it everytime we nom it, as it is so easy to make and sooooo satisfying ^^;/
