Art from abroad
Last week we received a couple beautiful art pieces from my uncle in USA :)
My uncle is one of the people I look up to since I was a kid! ^o^ I think it is super awesome that he decided to pursue art after retirement and I think he’s doing a great job so far :3
Really like the colours he put into his work :D
The vinyl doll in the picture is from a korean maker, her face is hand painted, resulting in a vintage feeling ^^/ She is a nice size to have with the painting as a background :)
Awesome technique and rendering! Very much like the impressionist style that I became fond of in high school. However the vivid color makes me think of the style of Iblard, used in a few of Miyazaki’s movies!
