Richmond Olympic Oval
/15 Comments/in blog/by chunChanced upon the near completed Richmond Olympic Oval in the middle of some errands not long ago, but didn’t have time to look thru pix until now. ^^; While I personally think it’s not as cool as the life size Odaiba Gundam — by the way loads more pix/links at dannychoo.com, husband and I were quite impressed by our quick visit with how it looks so far ^^!
Art post
/25 Comments/in art, Commission/by chunFinally another art related post ^^; Husband was remarking that my “puppy52art” blog is becoming miscellaneous stuff blog :P but I told him photos are art too rite? ^^; Anyhows, I had been am very busy, June = crazy busy, and there are some things which I need but yet to finish! T_T;
Below is a photo a friend took of me at the Artist Alley in Anime Expo 2001 ^^; It was dated July 5 2001, how nostalgic! I was still young and tender then ^^; lol!

Nao… on with the art stuff ^^;/
Post birthday documentation ^^
/21 Comments/in blog, Food/by chunTake note, my birthday has already passed okay :P LOL This is just an entry to document activities and of course FOOD ABUSE lol! We start with this yummy salmon burger (Which I already took a nibble of) which I had at Watermark on Kits Beach photo taken by my husband ^^ I took one before the nibble but I felt that this one taken by my husband looks better ^^/

/14 Comments/in art, blog, puppy52dolls.com/by chunSorry, been a while since I posted any artwork I know ^^; Just so many things to do, sometimes my personal art does take a back seat to everything else ^^; Here are a couple artwork which I sketched when I was at the cruise with family :3
Below is one inspired by a girl wearing a red bikini ^o^ I might as well throw in a girl in striped blue and white 2 piece huh? :P

Tea and Coffee hunt
/13 Comments/in blog/by chunIt was a beautiful weekend, the husband and I went to hunt for a couple things we needed in downtown Vancouver as we couldn’t find them in Richmond ^^; We chanced upon a couple girls wearing kimonos during our hunt ^^; The couple photos I took is cropped a bit closer from the originals as the zoom feature on our Lumix LX3 is quite limited. I am still quite impressed with the amount of details on the girl’s outfits which showed up in the photos tho!
Lumix LX3 – out and about
/20 Comments/in blog/by chunTook Lumix LX3 out for another run yesterday as I needed to go out anyways. The weather was spectacular but I think I got too much pollen in my system by last evening and suffered a massive sinus headache by the end of last nite on top of my flu. ^^; Anyhows, in this post you’ll see pictures of places, random stuff and food pictures.
Please note, some of the landscape photos (like the one below), you can click on to access larger version ^^/

One of my favourite weeds I mean wild flowers, butter cups! :3 I took a whole lot of photos of them and realised that yellow tend to not turn out very well. I had shot the day’s series of photos in Raw format too, and edited a handful of them to make some details show up better.
New look for the blogs!
/25 Comments/in blog, puppy52dolls.com/by chunThanks to my husband’s help, both my blogs acquired a new look! :D I would like to take this opportunity to also thank everyone who take time to come by and comment/support my sites all this while! We hope you like the new look! ^o^

Lumix LX3
/18 Comments/in blog, Food, puppy52dolls.com/by chunOur current 3 year old point and shoot digital camera is not meeting our expectations these days, especially during low light condition. So me and hubsband decided to give LX3 a try — thanks to seeing some recommendations in the comments on dannychoo.com and Danny’s own photos. The nice thing about some (not all) of the stores in Canada is that we at least have a 14 day return policy, so we can actually try the camera for that period of time to see if it’s a keeper :)

So far we’re still trying to get used to the different features and functions, so not all photos are picture perfect. So if you’re curious to see what pictures we took with the LX3, this entry is for you :) Be warned tho, there’s food pix ahead!
