Quick sketch of a memory
One of my husband’s favorite past time is to reorganize and optimize our living/working space(s). That was what we did yesterday on a grey and rainy afternoon (after bringing some stuff to recycle and donate). So this was my sewing corner, the “before” state — forgot to take a photo before moving things around LOL so did a quick doodle.

Ranka quick sketch
Watched Macross Frontier with hubs and decided okay gonna sketch Ranka Lee, I don’t super like her but I thought her hair style is kinda unique in a funny way… anyone think they look like floppy ears?
Anyhows here is the super (duper) quick sketch, done in 10-15 minutes ^^;
Not sure if I am gonna colour her tho, but if I am to do that, definitely not this week, too busy :P
On a totally random note, Meowmeow got the corporate cuddling punishment for being naughty :P (tumblred)
Lady Emerald – gift painting
As some of you may know, I am pretty into of dolls, namely a kind called blythes, some people may not like them or find them creepy, which I can understand (since the first time I came across them it wasn’t a “love at first sight”) thing either :P And by the way puppy52doll.com is unfortunately a little neglected these days as I am really able to sew very much :( I miss sewing and messing with my dolls (wah!)
Anyways I had been so busy that this piece of water olour was the only thing I got to finish up as I needed to meet a dateline to send it out (oops) it is a portrait — in my drawing style, of a world travelling blythe doll ^^
I think it turned out okay?
Anyways this weekend had been rather busy, we had a garage sale at our old place

Bikini girl Wallpapers
I must apologize for the delay in making these since I promised a while ago ^^; these days it has just been getting busier and crazier by the minute :P So I bring you 3 versions of the Bikini girl (click to view past progress) wallpapers :D She was initially going to be a blond girl, so I included a blond version as well. Thankfully it is relatively easy to change the colours if you have all similar colours in layers ^^

Out and about
One of our favorite things to do during good weathered weekends is to check out other people’s neighborhood. Often enough we will come across plants/sightings which we don’t have at home ^^ Tumblred ^^/

Had been feeling under the weather, due to a flu bug possibly o_o; so art has been slow. Also need to catch up with work (eek)

On a non art related note, mail loot made our evening last nite :3 Uchi posing with the loot ^^!

So came home and meddled with the art a bit — editing the line art removing artifacts, colouring/shading. I felt that the hand nearer to her head was a bit small (It was bugging me since I started colouring it) so I edited it in photoshop ^^; Hopefully it looks a bit better now?
Also coloured her bikini, wanted it to be a dark maroony colour but changed it to this colour instead, maybe change the colour again later tho :3
