First ride of 2013

Really glad I had time to take Strida Mini out today!

It was a perfect afternoon for a ride, it was cold but not freezing. So glad to have Strida Mini as I was able to go a bit further than if I was just walking and managed to take some photos with my doll, Aki which I am quite happy with :)

Senmei Fan Art!

Drew a fan art of Senkaku Mei/Senmei, the adorable Mascot of Anime Revolution ^o^/ Got tickets to attend this year :3 Looking forward to check out the cosplayers and see what’s in store! Last year I managed to go one of the days, and some of my friends had a Yoyo Tsuri booth ^o^/

Happy Valentine!

Happy Year of the Snake!

I was intending to draw a sexy babe and some snakes… but then it felt a bit wrong LOL *scratch head*, so here’s a snake, puppy and mouse, Ginko and Yoshi ^o^/!

Cabbage and Pork gyoza

My husband and I love gyozas, and sometimes have cravings to eat it, the ones we purchased often taste like they have a lot of MSG in it, so after I learnt how to make it, I decided to make my own version of the fillings :)

I made gyoza skin/wrappers from this youtube tutorial by ochikeron.

The fillings for the gyoza I made this time are cabbage, carrot, minced garlic, shallot, salt (to draw out the moisture) and pepper. I will be readjusting the amount to see if more vegetables would work out.

I used the food processor we got last year to grind the pork, I used 2 pieces of pork chop loin (I think?) I may reduce the amount of meat and see if it works, as husband remarked that more vegetable will be better. Read more
