Christmas party

Braved the cold weather and took public transit to attend a Christmas dinner party (brrrrrrrrr) I was glad it was not snowing/raining tho!

The black forest trifle was spectacular ;P deep dark chocolate decadence torte was pretty good too~!

Nom nom nom… lol food was by Emelle’s catering. ^o^

Music was good, but a bit too loud, so after some shouting to make conversations, I took a break to take some photos of surroundings :3

Yummy brother is yummy :3 Was really amused when she put her paw on Yoshi’s head to hold his head still so she can groom him XD

Who’s tail is that?

First bake at home :D It’s still cooling down, the cracks will close when it’s completely cooled XD I know it looks kinda scary, but it’s very delicious ^^; The cheese cake is light and fluffy, top part slightly browned, giving it a slightly caramelised taste :D Recipe here ^^/

Mokotan and Vivi helped made Xmas possible ;P Moar here ^^/

Do you celebrate Christmas? Do you send cards to friends and family?

This year, I was a bit late sending some cards out, I think next year onwards I will very likely send more e-cards instead :P More friendly to environment? On a friend’s recommendation I added this design to my Zazzle store as well :) So if you want to get some to send to friends and family you’ll make me very happy :P

Will probably still send physical cards to those who don’t use internets very much to keep in touch with me ^^;

Still have a small batch to write out, and have to get them out this week ^^; Some has arrived at their destinations by now :3

Sometimes I include an extra doodle here and there (When I have chance to), sorry those who got a card but didn’t get a personal doodle ^^;;;; It doesn’t mean you’re any less special :P

^^; Used water colour pencil, but didn’t use a brush over ^o^;

The image below I had to adjust the skin colour ^^; It turned out more orange than skin coloured ^^;;;

HooHooHoo! Probably a bit late for some, but let’s extend Christmas for the week okay? LOL I present to U another little art done in Sai, background and text + glow effect in photoshop ^^!

Also want to take the opportunity to thank Mimi chan for the christmas sign and message to me, how sweet is that! And I is very flattered *^^*/
She has a larger version on her blog ^^/!

So plans for christmas? Not too exciting, gotta make a couple dishes for a potluck dinner tonite lol I hope the roads are clear enough for us to head out and not get trapped in snow or a large puddle of melted snow ^^;

I really enjoying seeing snow on trees :D

New snow is FUN Lookit our new snow couch!

We easily had at least a foot thick of snow yesterday ^^; I was up to knee deep in snow when I walked out to check mail ^^; Walking in snow sounds kinda squeaky :P I almost twisted my ankle a couple times cos the footing is not solid ^^;

Before it gets too late, I better do this :P You can now purchase a greeting card with a similar design to this one below, from my Zazzle page here or by clicking on the image below.

Take note, the image on Zazzle’s card says “Merry Christmas!” instead of “Season’s Greetings!” ^^/
