Had the pleasure to join in an early birthday bash of my friend bluestarbaby and it was at Torarenbo Japanese Restaurant ^^/ Husband and I had not ate there before, but we saw online many good reviews and praises as well as our friend’s recommendation, so was curious to see what it’s like :D

So I had some food photos which I almost forgotten about ^^; So if you’re hungry and have nothing to nom on in your kitchen… you been warned!

Got a teeshirt for husband for his birthday (late present since his birthday already passed :P), too bad it did not arrive before Anime Evolution on the weekend ^^; Right now it’s waiting to be washed lol

Attended one day of Anime Evolution this year, main reason is to check out UBC as the venue, and hang out with my doll friends :DI would say the Artist Alley is totally at a prime location!  Loads of traffic going in and out and the artists look busy taking commissions etc.

Attended a friend’s wedding ceremony and dinner last week :) Took some photos but didn’t have a chance to share them until today ^^;

A few years ago I tried some organic strawberries at Wholefoods supermarket in Vancouver, and was shocked/surprised that they were naturally sweet o_o!  The strawberries I ever had in Singapore are imported and are always very sour or tasteless ^^; Since then I have been trying to catch the strawberry season — which is supposedly [...]

It has been a bit rainier than usual this few weeks, so on Saturday when the nice weather was a treat :)

A friend from Singapore was visiting and stayed with us for a little bit :) Thankfully the weather was very cooperative, and we had a nice time hanging out :D Her stay was rather short so I was also trying to spend time catching up with her since I have not seen her in years!
