Used a iphone app called photo synth to make the main image, and used photoshop to edit it a bit — mainly to remove some jagged looking edges around.

Ginko and Yoshi look so deformed here XD

Brief update!

Picture above taken by husband at Steveston’s Farmers Artisan’s Market, which we decided to check out at last minute… The skies were threatening to rain but we left soon after buying some plants ^^;

Summer’s always a busy season, the days are generally longer and there’s usually less rain, people go outside a lot more compared to cold miserable winter… This year is weird tho, we got some rain during July which is normally quite unheard of ^^;

Mini strida getting a ride home with our bottled water :P Strida mini chan always get attention people will strike conversation when I’m with it ^^; luckily I wear shades and helmet… feel less embarrassed lol

Serious sausage being sold lol it looked and smelt very good but we weren’t hungry ^^;

While rain was unexpected, it was welcoming in a way as it cooled down our over heated cats… ^^; We had been even busier the past weeks as our cats Ginko and Yoshi were a little off colour from being dehydrated after a warm/hot spell about 2 weeks ago. It was rather stressful and definitely threw some of our plans off =_=; I really hate to feed them medication, I got a scratch from Ginko just last night from doing so…

We got home and I suffered a terrible migraine and was knocked out for a few hours =_=;

Managed to edit some previous photos after I woke up and had some dinner, photos are actually taken by my husband ^^ He bought these neat snacks from Hong Kong a while back :3 Shark’s fin and Abalone flavor ^^;

Feels like we’re paying for the packaging lol!

I dug out the clover seeds given to me years back (the seeds supposedly expired but they still work ^^; ) I have a black thumb… so I hope these guys make it :P

The next 4 photos of the clover seedlings are taken using the LX3, in P mode, with manual focus setting! It was quite awesome :P

I wasn’t intending to have another crepe but the night before I saw some very evil and tempting dessert photos from my husband who was in HK at the time… and got my excuse to eat one :P

Had company one evening and they took me to eat Vera’s burger :3

The decor is a bit different from what I remember :P It has a more “fast food” chain feel now?

I tried the turkey burger, lots of flavor — well marinated patty ^^ Fresh fries are fresh XP I shouldn’t have had the whole burger tho ^^; was so full that evening, I couldn’t sleep XP

Husband back nao! :P We went to Torarenbo (last minute decision :P) for sushi after going to pick something up.

Inspired by Danny’s drool inducing Japanese food post, I dug up some food pictures which hasn’t been posted :P

“Fight poison with poison?” （以毒攻毒！）

My Dollfie dream girl Aki is in that Maid outfit for a while now lol <3 Partly due to that lovely tea set ^^;

Yoshi can has cake? (No he cannot lol)

These cakes are quite photogenic :P

Danny fondly calls Mc Donald’s（マクドーナルドー）”Health food”… LOL I was very curious about their buttermilk biscuit breakfast and managed to get Husband to take me one morning… :P No more greasy breakfast for a while LOL!

Bacon was overdone ^^;

One of my recent favorite crepe – Mazazu Crepe　マザーズクレープ　 :3 Mai explained to me that Mazazu actually is the katakana of ”Mother” XD that’s so neat!

I really like their sweet crepes too, but usually after a savory one, we’re quite full ^^; So It makes sense to share :P

Random omake: Cutting out stickers to be included in the doll clothing ^^/! You can buy the ticker from my zazzle shop, but at times they do have the stickers at 50% off (which was when I bought a bunch)

Food and random stuff

Looks like we found a new favorite restaurant ^^;

Thought I should document about it despite some seem repetitive — example going to same place for dindin ^^;

Couldn’t remember why but we went there to dinner again (maybe because we ran out of grocery at home, bought grocery after dinner before heading home ^^;)

There was a dog show last weekend at a local mall

Parking was nuts due to the large crowds

I went there to crash an artist meet actually ^^; the funny thing is I felt a bit shy :P But managed to draw a bit and talk to some people I met before at a wedding dinner :) It was good to meet my friend again too (whom I found out about the meet from) ^^.

I feel a bit sorry for the doggies, I think some of them were quite stressed out even tho they were generally quite well behaved.

Fast forward again… Guess what’s for dinner? ^^; LOL okay we have an out of town visitor, so we went (again) :P

This time we tried their Tiger eyes roll XD, it was a bit spicy for my liking but it was quite delicious really ^o^

Husband ordered inari sushi XD

BBQed salmon belly was ordered — not my usual type of thing but it was pretty good (not fishy!)

My copy of Otacool3 arrived yesterday! :D Ordered it before finding out that I won a copy lol

Made myself an ita SD card to tell it apart from husband’s :P hopefully it’s not gonna come off over time ^o^;

Batmouse Evolution teeshirt

Got a teeshirt for husband for his birthday (late present since his birthday already passed :P), too bad it did not arrive before Anime Evolution on the weekend ^^; Right now it’s waiting to be washed lol

I got a Miraifox teeshirt in white too (Zazzle was having a discount period). ^^; Even tho it did not work out with using Zazzle for the long run…

Those who ordered and kept their dark teeshirts from zazzle that time (despite the disappointment in the printing quality on dark shirts) are probably gonna be the only people who have that teeshirt until a better printer is sourced out ^^;/

On a slightly related note, WorkingMirai is now available for iPhone/iPod touch/iPad!

Had permission for Danny to reveal some past work I did for him… :P (realise I pulled that entry and forgot to post this back) Some of you might recognize Working with Mirai… ^^; had the pleasure to make this which turned into something real with the help of Danny and Dr. Ken!

Progress:- Sketched in pencils, scanned into the computer, drawing and tweaking in Flash, colouring, then more tweaking…

Viola!

Also did the simple animation, the still image of this one went thru a lot of tweaking to make Mirai’s side view more moesome :)

Batmouse Evolution

Got an idea from the husband to do something with the character created for him… it went from joking around to a full blown-ish artwork XD

I did not just draw the head of course… LOL

Initially Bat mouse’s occupation was “Mail mouse”, it was inspired by how my husband used to help me mail out doll clothing before he go to work ^^; I drew “Mouse” before with “Puppy” as shown below at this blog entry in February of 2009.

Somehow over time, “Mail” mouse morphed into Bat mouse over the years, you may recognize this avatar below used by my husband here and there :P

This afternoon… Batmouse evolved even more to somewhat resemble his Batty counterpart ^^; Initially I wanted to keep the rounded mouse like ears, but husband requested I use the “bat” ears from Batman ^^; The original mucking around looked quite deformed and hilarious XD! I am glad it eventually became this version which even my husband was happy with ;)

I hope you had fun looking at this version as I had fun making it XD
