Art on Cards :)

Yesterday was at da shop again, did some hand drawn cards as I carelessly did not order enough cards to send out! (doh!) But the people who’re getting the original version, I hope they like it cos I think they turned out better than I expected :D

I managed to take a picture before I seal and pack the hand drawn cards so here’s a lookie! :3 I used my trusty pilot drawing pen (size 0.3) and copic markers to draw and colour them since I don’t have access to my computer/printer at the shop ^^;/ Background for this little collage below is added in photoshop at home tho ^^;/

Top left, Uchi xmas version ^^/, cupcake (For a birthday card)
Bottom left, white xmas bear in xmas socks and SD santa girl ^^

I may recolour Uchi in computer later on (took a picture of the ink art before I coloured with markers) ^^

And oh yesterday before I left for the shop, was informed that zazzle had featured a card template I recently made under Today’s best of December 4th!

Mirai sukumizu commission

I’m a big fan of dannychoo.com‘s 2 adorable mascots and I am trilled to be able to work with Danny to create some custom outfits for Mirai and Haruka :D. I guess the main challenge is to as seamlessly create the outfits in a style which match as closely and naturally to Azami Yuko sensei’s style.

I used a combination of Sai and a little bit of photoshop to create the outfits. And oh Dolphin san makes a special appearance by special request…

So which do you like better? White? Or Blue? Where’s the white sukumizu(the swimsuit) you say?  You’ll be able to find Mirai in the white version on dannychoo.com ;D (link inserted)

Zazzle new T-shirts designs and commissioned work

So some of you may have noticed that I had put up a couple of Zazzle shirts with fan art of Danny‘s lovely Suenaga sisters. Was gonna write about it sooner but got a bit busy with other stuff ^^;

Last week, I posted 2 styles of Tee-shirts on my Zazzle page, please note that you can totally change the shirt style to fit a different gender.
I just wanted to post 2 different models on 2 different coloured teeshirt which they have on site rather than use the same people over and over.  So below I linked to 4 different shirts I quickly created thru Zazzle site for example. :)

Couldn’t look at the computer anymore, so did a doodle for a bit ^^ Still have to adjust and clean up in photoshop but here is the result.

So these few months, I had been pulled to do some non “doll” related work for cartoondollemporium (CDE), I am quite happy with what I had done, so I asked for permission to showcase some here.

The artwork below are all created in flash and it was quite challenging and rather time consuming to make little details via vector. I prefer to use the mouse to work with when drawing in flash as it gives me the cleaner edges I prefer for my artwork.

My personal favorite has to be the kitchen ^^! There are a few items in there were inspired by our own kitchen :P

Mai Tare-DC mascot teeshirt!

Kita! (it’s here!)

Took a little while, but my Tare-DC mascot tee finally arrived (Woot!) As we’re allowed to choose our own style of teeshirts to go with the image, I ordered the Ladies Ringer T-shirt in size S. I also ordered one of this, but surprisingly it’s not here yet even tho I ordered around the same time… :P Probably thanks to the custom delay? ^^;
