A day in… snow cat
Today on my way out to get mail I saw a couple kids playing in the snow, like 1 foot deep kinda snow ^^; After I started walking back home I couldn’t resist the temptation anymore….. and the result is….

It’s snowing and snowing and snowing ^^; So this morning I stayed in bed and doodled with Sai and my bamboo tablet ^^; background and text done in photoshop – just because it’s faster to do it in photoshop lol!

This morning, I was chatting with an old friend, Rex from furryfish (they specialise in flash animation, graphic and web design) back in Singapore. And he brought up a dog meets hydrant idea when he saw one of my recent photos lol!
I must admit it is not the most unique idea, I mean… what else can happen when a dog meets hydrant?

Fan art of Light commission and blood donation attempt
It’s been a LONG day but I thought okay I should do an update with actually an artwork before I hit the sack ^^; So Z kindly commissioned me to do a Light Yagami Fan art in Nendoriod/SD form ^^ (for a non commercial personal use). Thanks again Z for your kind support!
It was fun doing this piece and I am very glad you’re okay with me showcasing it (partially, cos Z gets the full view lol) :)
Usually with commission work, cost varies with amount of details, size and what it is use for etc :3 I don’t always show case every single piece of commission I do, partly due to privacy of the clients and also I tend to showcase what I’m more likely prefer to draw. I hope it does not look like I only draw anime style, I draw other style/stuff too but I preferred to be commissioned on more anime-ish style I guess! :) With my work related stuff usually I will double check with clients (Example Danny and CDE) before I post stuff here.
Why was today such a long day? I went to donate blood with the hubs, it is kinda my 2nd attempt to donate blood, first time I went with a friend (who has since relocated to USA) and my blood iron was barely enough, so I couldn’t donate. This time I actually got to the getting my blood drawn stage but I started feeling weird, so the nurses stopped the process ^^; Well hopefully better luck next time :P Hubs managed to donate successfully but he’s now so tired he went to bed early. (good boy) :P
Evening in Vancouver
Hope you peeps don’t mind photo dumps (as Mimi likes to call it) lol! I know someone mentioned that it’s slow loading, I apologise for that :P Hopefully will be able to fix it in future ^^;
There are just times when I feel that my sketches are kinda blah due to drawing when I feel tired, so I rather not post those. This time I’ll share some photos of my hubs’ company party which we attended last nite :) As the party went on, it started snowing O_O!

A day in Richmond
It had been a busy weekend! o_o;/
Finally have a little time to resize some photos and do little captions for the new segment in this blog :)
Most of this set of photos was taken last week, during the one day when I go help at my friend’s shop in the mall.
It happened to turn out to be a fine day (which I’m not complaining at all). Usually in Winter it’s very cold, cloudy and rainy and a lot less daylight, from what I remember of previous few years I lived here. But last week on that day it was even a little warm, when the sun was out for a few hours, which was why I am able to share pictures like his, since I do not have to hold on to my umbrella, bag and fiddle with the camera all at once.
